Last year's collection of woodland handmade dolls by Danita was very well received, and they sold out in hours after I announced them. I got a lot of requests to make more but I was unable to work on the until today.
I am working on a new set of Mushroom Dolls, and I will be taking advanced orders for them before they sell out.

They will be ready around FEB 8th, just in time for Valentine's Day!
Although they will be a collection, each doll is a unique creation, as original and individual as the piece of my soul that gets dropped with my love on each doll I make.
They are created from my own original patterns and using fabric that I dyed using organic dyes of my own making using 100% natural ingredients like avocado skins, walnuts and marigolds, because I wanted them to look as natural and nature inspired as possible.
Each body is filled and shaped by hand, then sewn into a body that holds a beautiful air dry clay face, painted with my melancholic and mysterious eyes that you know so well, with a unique personality that makes each of them a unique piece of soft, huggable art.
They are not toys intended for child play, but they can be handled with ease and you can even play gently with them as you pretend you are in the deep fairy forest, enjoying a wonderful day in company of your woodland friends. (I know you can, because that's what I just did while I was photographing them!)
They will be eager to go to their forever homes and find a place to live among your favorite shelf, together with all the beautiful things you consider important and like to look at every day.
