Alice and the caterpillar

Well, as you know, Alice in wonderland has always had a very strong influence in my life. And this painting is no exception. I was requested by a collector to create a new painting with Alice and the caterpillar. I love the absurdity of the scene and since I had not painted it, I decided to create it as a commissioned painting, now living happy in it's forever home.

The painting measures 8x8 inches on a high quality gallery style wood panel, made with a myriad of art materials... pencils, pastels, acrylics and collage papers, all combined to recreate the famous scene from Alice in wonderland.
