Moths are also in my list of revered creatures. Their muted colors, their feathery antennae and mysterious patterns on their wings call to my soul. This piece was made in stoneware clay, glazed and fired at approx. 2000 degrees Fahrenheit. I love how it speaks of resilience and transformation in both the creature and the medium.
