FOREST SPIRIT

An original glazed ceramic bowl by Idania Salcido, the artist behind Danita Art. Totally handmade in my studio, this is a unique piece that cannot be repeated. Food and drink safe, hand wash only.

I love the way this little bowl turned out in the end. I used deep earth tones glazes on the outside, with a beautiful illustration of a girl as a forest spirit, with green leaves and branches growing out her head. On the inside, the plants keep blooming and a red bird is perched on the branches, happily singing.
