I love experimenting with different materials and media and try to figure out how to work them out to make beautiful art.

This time I mixed watercolors on wood with a very rough surface and created a series of mini girl portraits.

This watercolour portrait measures 5x5 inches on a wood block, and features a female portrait with beautiful and detailed eyes.

The rough surface I used on the wood block gives this painting a very special quality that adds to the facial features of each of the girls.

You can adopt one or the whole series, they look really beautiful on a shelf or hanging on a wall with the slot drilled on the back.
