Continuing with my series of butterfly and moth specimens, I created a dark moth just in time for Halloween.
Like the rest of my moth specimens, this art doll is totally hand made by me using air dry clay and fabric.
This little moth has black lacy wings with beautiful sewn patterns, since this is a night dweller, is not colorful but her beauty is mute and delicate like the darkness she loves.
Her face has my melancholic signature eyes and beautifully painted facial features, so amazing she feels alive when you hold her in your hands.
