Mareen the little mermaid woke up from a long nap on the kelp forests and decided to go to the surface and enjoy the sun and the waves as she dances in the seafoam, like a graceful ballerina.
She combines some of my favorite themes, the ocean, the uninhibited female figure and plants and their unique leaves. Everything combines perfectly on a painting of a redhead mermaid with a tail decorated with botanical and floral motifs.
She combines the most beautiful things of two worlds in someone who can live on two worlds if she so desires, but for now, she is content to enjoy the bond with terra firma while she dances in the waves.
