Mexican culture revers nature and we have a special place in our hearts for mother nature. The Huichol tribe calls her Tatei, our mother earth.
She is venerated with offerings before sowing and before harvest time to get her permission to live off her gifts. This is my gift to mother nature.
She is painted using watercolors on paper and measures 7x9 Inches. You can see the delicate leaves that cross her face, and her beautiful green eyes are full of love and wisdom.
