This image has always fascinated me, how the doctors wanted to help the patients but the knowledge in their times was so limited and dressed up like that in a half scientific, half mystical effort to protect themselves form the deadly plague.
This original handmade art doll is made by me, Danita Art. It measures 8 tall, her head and mask made with air dry clay. Her clothes and body is an original creation using my own patters and imagination, and it is decorated with delicate sewn patterns with black tread.
